This whole body workout uses the principles of ballet to tone and strengthen your entire body. Each class will start with a warm-up and move to either a matt series or standing center work, followed by a sequence of lower body ballet-inspired work at the barre. Pilates borrows from disciplines of dance, yoga and classic calisthenics. Pilates combined with barre stretches and strengthens the body, primarily the core muscles, which span from the hips to the shoulders. In Pilates Barre Sculpt, light weights, bands, balls and the barre will be used to tone & sculpt. Please bring your mat and toe sox.
